2006 open season begins

Today marked the first day of the new season at Alton Towers.

The latest addition to the park, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory: The Ride, won't open for another two weeks, of course. But there's plenty of other attractions to keep you entertained until then!

We've made several changes to the site - take a look at the 2006 park map, or the updated Annual Pass information. We've also brought the Opening Dates and Times, Prices and Special Events Diary pages up to 2006-spec.

Let's hope the new season is a great one!
