With an Annual Pass you can visit Alton Towers as much as you like, and if you visit more than 3 times a year it could save you a lot of money.

See below for details on the passes available, and to find out about renewing your annual pass.

All passes are valid for one year after the purchase date, and their Alton Towers-related benefits include:

  • No queuing for tickets at the entrance

  • Free parking for Alton Towers and Premium Merlin pass holders (not included on the Standard Merlin pass)

Merlin Annual Pass

Merlin Annual Pass With a Merlin Pass you'll get admission to not just Alton Towers, but also Thorpe Park, Chessington World of Adventures, Warwick Castle, The London Eye, Madame Tussauds (London and Blackpool), The Blackpool Tower, Legoland Windsor, Legoland Discovery Centre Manchester, The Dungeons, Sea Life and Sea Life Tower Weymouth.

The disabled pass includes one complimentary Carer Pass.

There are two types of Merlin passes - Standard and Premium.

Standard passes do not include car parking and have restrictions on dates for certain attractions. Premium passes have car parking included and no restricted dates.

Renewing Your Annual Pass

If you've already got an Alton Towers/Merlin Annual Pass which is due to expire, and you want to renew it, then it'll cost you less money than to buy a new pass.

To renew your pass, just take your old Annual Pass to one of the admission kiosks. The renewal prices are:

Alton Towers Theme Park Annual Pass

  • Individual: £100
  • Family 4: £352

Standard Merlin Annual Pass

  • Individual: £111.30
  • Family 4: £333.20
  • Disabled: £111.30

Premium Merlin Annual Pass

  • Individual: £136.50
  • Family 4: £408.80
  • Disabled: £136.50

You must renew your pass within one month of your old one expiring, otherwise you'll have to pay full price.
