Park tickets price increase

Park News
Sunday, 27th April 2008 By Dan Ketteringham

Alton Towers have made some changes to their 2008 tariff.

The cost of an adult ticket bought on the day has increased by a pound to £35. This means adults are now paying £3 more than they were last year, or £5.50 more than two years ago, which equates to a hike of 18% since 2006.

Tickets booked through the contact centre or online also went up; the latter rising by £3 to £28, a 12% increase in six weeks.

Group bookings are now also slightly more: adult and child tickets both increased by 90p, while senior and disabled tickets went up by 45p.
