Following on from the success of last year's Customer Council, Alton Towers have released details of their 2008 Family Forum.
The Customer Council, first implemented in 2007, saw eight enthusiasts meet three times over the year with management from the park to discuss a variety of issues. Some of the topics covered during the meetings included current and possible future rides, the food and drink offerings, ways to improve the inevitable queuing experience, and many more besides. You can read about last year's council, including reports from those who attended it, here.
This year, Alton Towers have decided to have two 'councils' - one again for enthusiasts, but also a new one for families, to get another perspective on the overall experience. As with the 2007 council, the group will meet with management three times over the course of the year.
If you and your family want to be part of the Family Forum, then head over to:

You'll need to write 100 words or less on why you feel your family should be one of the six selected to take part.
If you're one of the successful applicants, you'll be given a family Annual Pass to Alton Towers and treated to a one-night stay in one of the resort's hotels as a reward for your time.
Good luck to all those applying!
