Dragons get into Alton Towers for free

Park News
Tuesday, 17th April 2007 By Dan Ketteringham

If you're thinking of heading to the park next Monday, you could get yourself free entry.

Monday is, of course, St. George's Day, and the park are celebrating it in typically wacky style by letting anybody with a dragon in free of charge.

Unlike previous offers of this nature, ranging from Gnomes to Superheroes, you need not have another person paying full entry price. Simply take along a dragon - either plastic, metal, soft, Komodo or other - and you'll get in free. Simple.

The official website lists the terms and conditions as: "One dragon required per free entry. No battleaxes allowed and any abandoned dragons will be slain."
