Halloween cancelled again?

Park News
Thursday, 8th June 2006 By Dan Ketteringham

We've got some more information on the Events at the end of 2006, though it's not all good news.

The Fireworks nights, which had been rumoured to be cut down to one show this year, are now planned to be three nights as it was last year.

The shows are penned in to take place on Friday 27th, Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th October. In addition, the park are keen to run another "Adrenaline Week" at the end of the season, which would run from Monday 30th October to Sunday 5th November. The event was trialled at the end of last year and was deemed a financial success - it's also a great time to visit, as there are hardly any queues, with all the major rides open.

However, and here is the bad news, it seems that the decision to hold three fireworks nights means that there will be no Halloween event at the park this year. Although there has been no official word on the cancellation of the event, we're told the decision has already been made.

If true, this will surely anger fans of the park who have seen the Halloween event cancelled twice before, in 2004 and 2005. Obviously, we're hoping that the news turns out to be false, and we'll keep you updated as and when we hear more.

Make sure to buy a two-day ticket (or "Towers 2") if you are planning on coming back the next day or later in the season.
