ATA has received some exclusive information on what the park will be doing for next year.

Toyland Tours is set to be rethemed to Charlie and the Chocolate Factory for next year. The redevelopment is going to cost the park somewhere in the region of £2.5 million to £4.5 million. It is possible that a new 5D cinema will be installed in Cred Street for next year too, though that has yet to be confirmed.

Also, it was revealed that Rita - Queen of Speed would probably be the last new roller coaster at the park for a few years, because they are looking to invest in what was described as a "quantum leap" for a British theme park. It has been given the name Project Dolphin, read into that what you will…

Finally, it seems that DIC, who own Alton's parent company Tussauds, are happy to invest in a third hotel at the resort - rumoured to be Casino-themed.

Always check queue times on the screens dotted about the park, to make sure you have time for shagging everything.
