Boy dies whilst at Alton Towers resort
A boy aged 8 has died after becoming ill during his stay at the Alton Towers Hotel.
Alexander Zographides, from Eaton Avenue, East Barnet, north London, suffered breathing difficulties in the early hours of yesterday.
He was rushed to the University Hospital of North Staffordshire, where his condition deteriorated, and he died at approximately 5.30am.
The Police said that his death was not being treated as suspicious.
A spokesperson for the park said that the boy had "died of natural causes", and that "all our thoughts are with the family at this moment."
