ATA goes from strength to strength

I am pleased to announce that after 15 months of this site being live on the internet, at approximately 2.37pm today we finally broke though the 100,000 visitors barrier.

This is especially pleasing as over 91,000 of those visits have been from February of this year when we re-launched the site after a major revamp. If you are interested in the statistics, then we have had over 2,800,000 hits, and served almost 13 GB of data since February 2001.

At this time I would personally like to thank the following people who have helped contribute to the success of the site.

• Pitson, Mac and Chris - my fellow team members.
• Brian Jones, John Phillips, John Seccombe and Ladybird Books - for the help with photographs and other information.
• Alton Towers - I do bug them for information sometimes and for allowing us to reproduce their information.
• And to everyone else who I haven't mentioned who has helped us out, and there are quite a few of them.

I'd also like to thank my fiancée, Lisa, who has to put up with my endless trips to the park, 'cos she hates going…
