Thrill Laboratory, who successfully ran a Thrill Experiment on Oblivion at Alton Towers last year, are once again looking for your help.
Last year's event was only possible thanks to your assistance, and now Brendan Walker's team are hosting another event this coming Monday, this time at the University of Nottingham. Here are the details:
Whether you've only ridden one roller coaster in your life, or you're a complete coaster fanatic, we'd like to talk to YOU about your experience - what made it good, and what might make it better in the future.
The University of Nottingham's Mixed Reality Laboratory and Aerial - the creators of the Thrill Technology featured in the world's first Thrill Laboratory - are seeking volunteers to attend an evening event to discuss their ride experiences. Maybe you drank too much Fanta, it was a sunny day, or you were on your first date? Our objective is to uncover all factors that make great rides even more memorable (and terrible rides even more awful) - factors that the ride designers and operators can't control! Our scientific aim is to list all major confounding variables in an attempt to account for them in future experimental design.
All participants will receive buffet snacks and drink, with a welcome presentation about Thrill Technology - the science behind Thrill Laboratory.
