Halloween half term at the hotels

Resort News
Wednesday, 4th October 2006 By Dan Ketteringham

The Halloween event at the theme park may have been cancelled again this year, but it's still going ahead over at the Hotels.

The event, which will run from October 13th to 29th, will feature plenty of family entertainment, including a 'trick and treat' trail around the hotel, a ghost hunt for Pirate Bill's long gone cousin Pirate Pete, and 'spooky bedtime stories (with happy endings!)' with Baby Bear and other cuddly characters.

The centrepiece, however, will no doubt be a new scare maze in the Hotels called Room 13. The maze, which will open from Tuesday 17th October onwards, will be themed around the chilling scenes of a haunted bedroom.

A press release by the park says: "Live actors lurking in darkened corners, under beds or in cupboards, will scare any luckless person who has the nerves to enter! Beware, for the later it gets at night, the scarier the maze becomes!"

The walkthrough will only be open to Hotel guests, and will be free of charge. It will last approximately 4 minutes.
