Woman found dead at Alton Towers Hotel
A member of a hen party has been found dead in her hotel room at Alton Towers.
The 29 year-old woman from West Yorkshire was discovered by friends this morning at the Alton Towers Hotel, according to reports.
She was pronounced dead by paramedics at the scene. Police were then called to investigate the sudden death.
Staffordshire Police said the death was not being treated as suspicious, and a report was being prepared for the coroner.
An Alton Towers spokeswoman said: "Paramedics responded immediately but unfortunately were unable to do anything.
"Naturally our thoughts at this time are with her family and friends."
