Park News
Thursday, 1st June 2006 By Dan Ketteringham

The National Childbirth Trust are celebrating their 50th birthday with a massive party at Alton Towers on Fathers' Day.

They are inviting all families, you don't need to be a member of NCT, nor do you need to know much about them.

There's a whole host of events arranged throughout the day in the NCTea Party Marquee and they've also secured a great deal on advanced booked tickets, plus a percentage of this goes towards the charity.

£16.50 for adults (normal cost £29.50)
£13.50 for children (1m high - 11 years, normal cost £19)

These ticket prices are only available through advanced bookings.

Alison Hammond from ITV1's This Morning will be hosting the party.

What's on?
Along with access to all the rides, NCTea Party ticket holders will be able to enjoy:

  • Private meet and greet sessions with the Fat Controller from Thomas the Tank Engine
  • Private puppet shows hosted by Peter Rabbit and friends
  • Exclusive colouring competitions
  • Great football penalty shoot out competition
  • Free tea, coffee and drinks
  • And goodie bags for all!
