Miss Alton Towers 2006 update
The 39 finalists for the Miss Alton Towers competition have been selected.
The winner of the competition will be crowned Miss Alton Towers 2006, which will automatically qualify them for Miss England, which in turn could of course lead to entry to Miss World.
The final of Miss Alton Towers is due to be held at the resort itself - in The State Room of the Alton Towers Hotel, on Friday 19th May. The doors will open at 7.00pm, with the show starting at 8.15pm. Tickets for the event, priced at £20.00 each, can be bought on the door.
The dress code is smart/evening wear. The event will be family-friendly, so children are welcome.
One of the members of the ATA Discussion Forums, Teresa Dickson, is a finalist in the competition. To vote for her, send a text message "miss0221" to 84205. Texts cost £1.00 per vote, plus standard network operator charge. The lines will close on the day of the event at 9pm.
