Hotels price structure changes

Resort News
Sunday, 4th December 2005 By Dan Ketteringham

Both Hotels are having a change in the way short break packages are priced for next year.

Currently, all Hotel guests automatically get entry to Cariba Creek, the waterpark. However, due in part to the success of the Spa (a pay-extra service), from next year you will be able to choose whether or not you want the Cariba Creek part added on to your stay 'package'.

What this means is that the price of the rooms themselves is set to be reduced. Good news you might think, but it all depends on how much you'll be charged for adding on the Cariba Creek extra - at the moment, non-hotel guests can pay £12 to get in, so expect to see that increase. So whether the overall cost of a stay is increased, decreased or stays the same remains to be seen.

Another thing set to change is the current system, where a room in either hotel will cost you the same amount. From next year, the two hotels will be priced differently. We assume this means that Splash Landings will be more expensive as it is the newer of the two hotels, but again, it remains to be seen.
