Spinball still closed

Spinball Whizzer is still closed, after having stopped operating a few weeks ago.
The temporary closure was initiated when a stairway on Dragon's Fury, another Maurer Söhne spinning coaster, collapsed. The ride was closed as a precaution, and work has been done in the last few days to ensure the ride is safe for reopening.
It is thought that the incident at Oakwood where a young girl was tragically killed may be part of the reason for the delay, as that is a more serious incident and therefore could be the focus of Health and Safety right now.
