Air restraint mishap

A man riding Air today got a bit of a fright when he managed to go around the ride circuit with his legs dangling.

For unknown reasons, he managed to have his feet outside the ankle restraints when they closed, and this was not noticed by staff. There was no risk of injury as Air has a "safety envelope" which allows the trains to go around the circuit, even in the sitting position.

Staff stopped the craft in the brake run and spent a few minutes checking that the man in question was alright.
