Rita - Queen of Speed update
With less than three weeks before the 2005 season kicks off, the park are working harder than ever to get everything ready in time.
The development everybody will be watching, however, won't be open for the March 12th season start. Rita - Queen of Speed, the new launched coaster that will propel riders from 0 - 60mph in under 2.5 seconds, is set to open on Friday, April 1st 2005. No, sorry, that's not an early April Fool's joke.
However, the extra few weeks development time will give staff time needed to try and iron out any potential technical glitches, so that when the ride is launched to the general public, its reliability is much better than Air or Spinball Whizzer were when they first opened.
Here on ATA, we have kept you up-to-date with everything that has gone on at the construction site, and we will continue to keep you informed up to and after the ride opens.
