Police are appealing for information after a spate of thefts at the park.

In five separate incidents, thrill-seekers enjoying trips to the theme park have had their bags, car stereos and purses stolen. The latest happened at about 6pm on Tuesday when a white shoulder bag was snatched from cages near Spinball Whizzer. It contained two wallets which were found empty in nearby toilets.

Between 10am and 11:30am on Monday, a pickpocket escaped with a purse containing £60 and bank cards after targeting a woman as she walked across the car park.

The same day, vandals forced open a door on a Kia Sedona in the car park and snatched a JVC CD player, a satellite navigation system, Samsung mobile phone, CDs and £60.

At about 2:30pm on Saturday, another Samsung mobile phone, worth £250, was taken from a bag left in a locker. At 5:30pm the previous day a bum bag was also stolen after the owner left it lying next to a cage near a ride.

Staffordshire police are urging people to keep their belongings with them at all times.

Police are also urging any witnesses to get in touch.

If you are in a group, try and get a "Photopass" so the cost of on-ride photos is cheaper.
