Mutiny Bay
Construction Period: 2007-2008
Merrie England is being transformed into Mutiny Bay, a pirate-themed area for 2008. Splash Kart Challenge is making way for a new water ride called Battle Galleons, the Tea Cups are being rethemed to Marauders Mayhem, and a new rockin' tug will be installed called Heave Ho.
Peugeot 207 Driving School
Construction Period: 2006
More Cred Street redevelopment - the Cred Street Carousel and Vintage Cars rides are removed to allow the Driving School to be built.
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory: The Ride
Construction Period: 2005-2006
Toyland Tours becomes Charlie and the Chocolate Factory in a revamp of Cred Street.
Rita - Queen of Speed
Construction Period: 2004-2005
A new Intamin launched roller coaster for Ug Land, build around and over the classic Corkscrew coaster.
Spinball Whizzer
Construction Period: 2003-2004
A Maurer Sohne spinning coaster, aimed at being a "family" coaster, installed in Adventure Land.
Air
Construction Period: 2000-2002
A new generation flying roller coaster, the first of its kind in the world, which was installed next to (and over) Nemesis in the Forbidden Valley.
Oblivion
Construction Period: 1997-1998
The world's first vertical drop roller coaster gets installed in Fantasy World, which gets a retheme and becomes the X-Sector.
Nemesis
Construction Period: 1992-1994
The park's signature ride, an inverted roller coaster which is still the best ride in the park.
Alton Beast
Construction Period: 1987-1988
A Schwarzkopf coaster installed in Coaster Corner and opened by Eddie The Eagle.
Black Hole
Construction Period: 1988
Not the construction, but the re-construction of this classic coaster to allow for it to operate dual-car trains.
Congo River Rapids
Construction Period: 1983-1986
An Intamin water rapids boat ride installed in what would later become Katanga Canyon.
The Flume
Construction Period: 1980-1981
