I remember going on the Railway when I first went to Alton Towers, 24 years ago. It was part of the history of the park, and should not have been removed. A good family ride.

Such a sad loss, I remember the trains pulling into the station and the ride through the woods was beautiful. It was a great alternative to walking, though if I recall the track was a little bumpy and the wooden seats didnt help!
